Welcome to the (temporary) start page for the jeffstart.org website. I am not certain at the current time just what use I will make of this space on the web, but for the moment I envisage a sort of miscellany of items. I hope to have a website running for the cottage, as well as a portion devoted to my interests in mathematics and statistics. Most of the items are not, for the moment running. In addition, I have not really made an attempt at a web site that responds to the size of the reader's viewport (a 'responsive' site in other words). I may (or may not!) get to that in the future. I have to explore various tools to see just what the best approach might be for me.

My hope is that the website will be more fully fleshed out and useful in the future!

Friday, 27 January 2017: I am updating this site from an external source, coding inline and we'll see what things look like when I do this. I will experiment a bit more with this but it seems to be a viable development path. There do seem to be some issues with the effectiveness at this time.

12 February 2017: I have resumed some editing, and will attempt to add some discipline to the coding. Some issues seem to have been addressed, however, as I have unlocked the online coder I have been using up til now.

I am not sure when the next version of this start page will be created, but it might be a while!. It is now August 5, 2021 and I haven't done much!
