This page describes the events of daay three of our adventure. We viewed a bit more of Gros Morne, and made the long drive across the island to Twillingate.
Home PageThe weather was miserable to start the day, but we packed up our stuff, and headed off across the island. We intended to see the tablelands at Gros Morne, however, and we were able to take the tour (abbreviated due to inclement weather) even though it was the first snowfall of the season for the park. Jamie and Ollie waited out the day in the Visitor's Centre of Gros Morne, but Linda, Megan, Andy, and Jeff braved the weather. We got soaked, but saw the tablelands.
Evnts of the Day
On this, our second major travel day, we:
- toured the tablelands at Gros Morne
- drove across the island to Twillingate
- settled in to our second Newfoundland abode - 'The Rock House'
